Question about compatibility with retail expansions
Hi!
Can anyone confirm or deny if the GMG version of Heroes of Might and Magic V is compatible with retail, non-standalone expansions (Hammers of Fate and Tribes of the East)? If yes - then when buying from GMG does the licence permit instalation of such add-ons? I asking mostly because they probably modify the existing game files and may remove or alter the standard Capsule/SecuRom DRM.

Hi there Jahman,
Unfortunately GMG have to do the patching on our end at the moment - so expansions you buy at retail will not work with products you have purchased on GMG.
We are aware of the expansion for Might and Magic V, but we had some problems wrapping it to work with our technology in this case - so for now it is unavailable. We are however constantly working on improving our process for, so you may well see this expansion available on GMG in the future!
